If You enjoy traditional bow hunting,
then you'll love Doug Schlabach's video Lettin' Loose. All kills
are traditional archery kills - Doug does it the old way - hard work and
traditional archery gear. This is a hunting video, not another
slick television show.
A teacher by trade but a
hunter by the grace of God, Mike E. Neilson
has been hunting since 1969. Growing up as a waterfowler, he has
expanded into the realm of big game hunting with both gun and
bow. Still an avid hunter of birds and small game, the author
likes to travel to new locations and engage in various
adventures.
Mike has been married to his
lovely wife Mary for 27 years and they have raised 5 children in
Danville, Indiana. He has taught Social Studies for over 20
years and is the department chairman at DCHS.
The Tri-fecta.
These three books started it all. Archery in North America enjoys
popularity and success today largely because of the writings of Maurice
Thompson (a fellow Hoosier), Howard Hill and Saxton Pope. These
three books are an absolute must for any archer's bookcase.
