Twenty raccoons. A course of their own. No daylight.
The Coon Shoot is its own course — twenty raccoon 3D targets, set completely separately from the forty scenes you shot all day. Same woods, entirely different problem.
Depth goes first. Then the edges of things. You will range a target twice and still not quite believe it. Somebody in your group will call a distance with total confidence and be wrong by eight yards.
It is the most fun anybody has all weekend, and it is the thing people are still talking about the following September.

More than thirty people walked it last year. Only nine turned in a scorecard — everybody else came out just to shoot it in the dark. That tells you what kind of event this is.
Our biggest event of the year — September 19 & 20. Forty staged 3D scenes across forty acres, free camping Friday and Saturday night, a home-cooked kitchen all weekend, overall awards for both traditional and compound, and a raffle table with a custom Timberhawk bow on it.
Signing up online is easiest, but you can also add it at the Wing Ding registration table during the day, or register on site from 6:00 PM.
